The following plans show Gloria Dei was re-zoned in 2020, during former Mayor Denman’s term, from Residential to Mixed Use.
In the i45 Now Candidate Forum on April 18, 2022, Mayoral Candidate, Mark Denman, stated, “Never in any way did I ever suggest that we re-zone church property. It's just not something that I would ever [done].”
